Vijf jaar na Port of Morrow, Alankomaats favoriet van 2012, komt er een nieuw album aan van The Shins. Het heet Heartworms en verschijnt 10 maart bij Columbia. Vandaag werd de tweede single gepresenteerd: Name For You. Fijne catchy indiepop, zoals je van James Mercer en de zijnen mag verwachten. The Shins treden 30 maart op in Paradiso.

Bekend met The Shins? De heren uit Albuquerque, New Mexico hebben met Wincing The Night Away een heerlijk album afgeleverd. De la-la-la-la's en de oeh-oeh-oeh-oeh's vliegen je om de oren op het album waarvan in de VS in de eerste week maar liefst 118.000 exemplaren werden verkocht. Oftewel: de tweede plaats in de Billboard 200 die week. Eindejaarslijstje? Yep. En hoog ook.
